Excellent summary. Another project that it may be worthwhile comparing STB with is Allana Potash which has defined total resources of approximately 1200MT (gross tonnage) at 100 – 300m depth on the Ethiopian side of Danakil depression. This is a relatively shallow potash deposit but as all other potash projects in Ethiopia, the mined products need to be railed/trucked over 700km to the deep water port in Djibouti. This will add significantly to their total costs. Interestingly, Allana’s share price was also hit very hard about 4 weeks ago but it recovered very quickly and is now claiming steeply back to June/July levels (i.e. near 100% increase from its low).
