Just a comment appropo of nothing but I found it interesting.My son rang me and said he was short around $12-15k to finish his house.As I had brought him some CXO shares at 23.5 cents ages ago I suggested he could sell 10000 today and me being retired I don’t pay much tax on that.Ok I went on line and saw the price sneaking up towards $1.50 and interestingly the number of shares dropped to give or take 2mill.I hit the sell button at $1.50 and blow me down at days close the price was down to $1.40 and the sellers up around the 5 mill mark.
Not being a market pro these things just intrigue me.Can anyone explain such market girrations or do we just say the market is a strange beast.
