If the Euro / US recession gathers momentum, even OST may have to rethink. Simple fact is there is no other viable bidder who can dig up the dirt and ship it readily. The absence of a viable alternative bidder underpins the sp vulnerability.

The Chinese aren't welcomed as far as Hawks Nest go. I reckon Defence gave Hawks Nest the green light to specifically allow Aussie OST to complete the transaction.

I mean what has changed since defence rejected mining there last time ? Nothing....still militarily sensitive as ever !
