$1.75 valuation, page-18

Hi Guys - I am a newbie on this forum and certainly very very raw when it comes to share market...

Just out of interest with the negative press on huntley's.. I subscribed to their newsletter for last two years and recently stopped (purely as I have run out of funds to invest in the short term). I am really a long term investor who has a few small spec stocks.. I have found huntleys a fairly good resource? They have Roc down as a spec high risk buy, BUT its not part of their portfolio (which basically includes long term investments like BHP, RIO, CBA, CSL, TLS, etc etc).... I assumed they put that intrinsic valuation based on assets, current and future oil prices, potential etc etc - and werent ROC around this price pre the GFC??? I know for example they have RIO's intrinsic value well above its current share price (same as woodside etc)....... for the comment, follow at your own peril...well so far I am up on their recommendations... (on paper anyway)... anyway sorry to hijack the thread, I am absolutely raw on the stock market but was just getting some feedback in the case I resubscribe!
