Why invest in Bega Cheese when the dividend yield is so attrocious?

I can't see much upside potential for the sp either with this poor dividend yield and the still bubbly price.

I've looked back over the last several years and the yield seems terrible for a company with an EPS of over 100cps.

I'd love to support a local company like bga, but really.... 1.8% dividend yield? Come on!!

Maybe the sp declines of the last month or so is indicative of investors starting to wake up to this??

Better off putting your money in a term deposit imho.
