A reasonable-sized holder just wanted out - looks to me as though they dumped ~6M shares in to 0.016. I am increasingly becoming of the opinion that this week's gains have been nothing more than an orchestrated effort to get the options in the money. As much as I would love for it to be something more, as a frequent holder of options for the last few years I have seen it all before.
I do not believe that there was any leak of positive news from one of our pilots, as if this were the case then the buying would have been sustained for more than just a few days.
At this stage, we need some additional details from one or both of the pilots, preferably to be coupled with an update of the BOOM2 roll-out and plans for the next quarter. It is my opinion that most/all options will be converted either way, but as a holder of many millions of IAMOA I would rather do this with confidence than simply "rolling the dice".
