I personally think the "exchanges don't make money on strong prices, they make money on volatility" is rather naive, as if cryptocurrency prices keep trending down, it'll get to the point where the future of the industry has deteriorated, and that'll lead to much lower trade volumes going forwards.
I really liked FFG's recent crypto investments- the reason why I sold out was I felt that their iCandy stake would be dragging the chain somewhat. I'm not trying to downramp- just adding my 2 cents to the picture.
