Regarding your 2nd statement - Crypto has not collapsed - there has been a correction. If there was a collapse and a lack of faith in Crypto Currencies then there would not be continued buy / sell of crypto.
Last year there was around 7 major Bitcoin corrections. Because in general, the general public became socially aware of Bitcoin around May - June of last year - the popularity of bitcoin rose and so did the price.
The concern is that about 40 percent of bitcoin is held by perhaps 1,000 users. So when a large number of Bitcoin became available towards the end of last year and the Governments of South Korea & China further flexing their monetary concerns, I feel that this combination has created the current big correction.
