Not that there is much competition... RFT manufactures parts that are used in fast EV chargers, but SXT's exposure is far more direct.

SXT, via its acquisition of www.localityenergy.com.au will be supplying the electricity for new Electric Vehicle Charging Stations to be installed along the east coast of Australia.

Announced on August 13th, Locality Energy is partnering with Tritium, the largest Australian manufacturer of EV charging stations.

    From the August 13th announcement:

"Locality Energy (LPE) has signed an MOU with Tritium Pty Ltd to roll out EV charging stations to residential and commercial sites across south east Queensland, with the next stage to deploy along the whole east coast of Australia."

Locality has a unique ability to place EV chargers inside their existing supply networks - far lower set up costs than building charging stations from scratch.

Being an electricity retailer with infrastructure already in place provides an ideal base for an EV charging business.

Each one of these charging stations will be co-branded with both LPE and Tritium Veefil logos, so every charge station will further promote LPE / SXT.

With the proliferation of electric vehicles, every block of flats and apartments is going to need an electric vehicle charger in the communal carpark.

LPE is already supplying electricity to the dwellings, and now with very minimal addition outlay, it will also be supplying electricity to the Fast Charging Stations  for residents' electric cars.

This is in addition to the planned commercial charging stations - as in similar to petrol stations, where drivers can pull in, have a cup of coffee and charge their car.

Think scores of drive in EV charging stations, all up and down the East Coast, along major arterial roadways, covered in LPE branding...

LPE's partner Tritium has also become one of the largest suppliers of EV stations in the USA:

LPE's current revenue comes from supplying electricity on long term contracts to strata communities, at a rate of $220,000 per gigawatt.

Do some sums around this figure... there is some good info on previous threads.

LPE hold 1 of only 23 energy retail authorisations Australia wide focused on residential customers... 3 of those holders are in the ASX top 20, and 12 others are in the top 100.
