ASX know who butters their bread, so no surprise they are ensuring the instos maintain as much of an advantage as possible.
As you know, ASX does publish the previous day non aggregate short sales data, but you have to trawl through all the stocks to get to the one you want and it seems you can only check the previous day. BOQ shorts were 1.23% of total shares from memory for the 26th of November, and 1.12% for yesterday.

Can't tell how many short positions were closed at this stage during those two days, as the aggregate data lags by four days.....
