I'ld say short interest will continue to build up to Feb - the same people who opened HUGE short positions (12% of market cap = $300 million+ shorted) up to Nov and closed out (with good profits I suspect) will more than likely be looking to cash in again if any part of the next update is negative (ie another dividend cut for example which I suspect is coming). BOQ is sound, but I reckon it will take a good 12 months until the shorters let it go for good - they may have closed out recently but they wil definitely be back over the next few months, particularly with what George is forecasting
