I listen to everyone, buddy.

And I don't really try to predict the SP. I invest for the long term (preferably years). I don't have the time, skill and/or desire to micromanage my holdings, and thus often they have to fend for themselves. Not for everyone of course, but it works well enough for me with regards to the risk, reward, and importantly effort ratios.

So, with this in mind, if I think a company is okay enough for me to own shares in it, and it drops/tanks I simply buy more (assuming there has been no disaster that changes the said company). If the SP rises above what I think is appropriate, I might sell some, say up to 20-30%. Otherwise I watch and listen, and hold, collecting dividends. That is it with regards to the banks for me. So it doesn't really matter to me personally what really happens to the SP day to day, other than entertainment value.
