comparing hospitals?
How can people on this forum speak negaitively of Australia providing $1b.? To argue that it should go into our own hospitals and roads has to take into consideration that the destruction to roads and hospitals in the tsunami affected areas has been enormous. Those lucky enough to get treatment have had to cope with operations including amputations without anesthetic or pain killers.
$1b = $50 per tax payer in Australia. It's sickening to know that some people see that as an enormous sacrifice.
