Yes there are other countries who are in need of aid but as I have already stated (even though some appear to want to deny reality) there are more than the main obvious reason for providing aid.
These other reason are more evident with Indonesia than some other coutries that are also in need.
As far as middle eastern countries providing aid - they are, should they be providing more aid than the in some cases pathetic amounts they are - yes.
But most of the more radical forms of Islam are largly coming from middle eastern countries. Their failure to provide meaningful aid to their Asian muslim brothers will hopefully help stop the flow of their radical views through Asia.
