Actually I'll stick up for one of the directors, Gordon Thompson. He is listed and paid as a non-executive director but in my experience he puts in lots of extra time and effort for the company.

I've rung the company a few times over the years and more often than not the main guys are not around but Gordon will be. My impression is that he is heavily involved in trying to progress a number of the east Asian projects (though for little return of late).

I am quite happy to bag Richard Caldwell and the company for what I think is poor performance but in fairness I don't think Gordon is a typical member-of-the-board bludger.

I don't know about the other chap who got options at the agm. I suspect he basically turns up for board meetings and that's it (but I could be wrong).
