Politicians can promise the world leading up to an election and then delivery nothing.
At this point in time the only major new developments as far as transmission infrastructure goes in SA is the new substation in the Penola area for the pulp mill & wind farm connection. There's still no discussion on connecting GDY, not that I'm hearing anyway. If there was, it would be all over the media due to the high funding of the project.
GDY have to prove up their technology before any new transmission infrastructure is built.
Butchy.
