Not biased about SLR and here's a few facts to prove it:

Even though Van Eck has increased it's holding by about 8.5M shares to 59.7M or 11.8%, that's the proverbial P*** in the ocean when you consider that's only been about the daily av volume traded recently. Van Eck may not be the only entity buying?

VE hold 8% of NST compared to 11.8% of SLR so they obviously think SLR has a future.

    NST has a M/C of USD580M @ $1 a share and will eventually produce ~500K oz pa.

SLR has a M/C of $254M @ 50c a share and IS producing ~200K oz pa with an aim to go over 300K.

Both have similar resources of ~6.4M oz albeit NST grades are higher.

Notwithstanding that, it's hard to justify a SP of $1.27 for NST and only 50.5c for SLR, just IMO anyway.

SLR should be closer to half that of NST, or around 66c.

Seemple maths and combined with the eencrease in the POG, might explain the renewed interest in SLR.

60c in the near future is attainable on those grounds alone with the added sweetener of a possible improved cash flow position in the next Q.

    Cluck!
