And to add to this question of how do they turn it around.
Even though the IO price has risen recently this hasn't had any impact on KFE sp, some people may be wondering why.
Another IO interest of mine has 57% DSO but even with 62% fines at $130/t, the price for their ore has not gone up and is currently only able to get $78/t, that is a 40% discount to 62% fines.
Not sure what 53% will be able to get but my guess it is a bigger discount than 57% DSO. So the margins on the low grade ore have to be spectacular to make it worthwhile in the current market. And shipping costs haven't come down so AIC could remain high.
The outlook for IO for the rest of the year is volatile, anyway the company has to define the resource so presumably they will be undertaking further drilling to achieve this. Not sure there will be much excitement here unfortunately though.
