An API announcement as a birthday present on Dec 2nd would be amazing! Feels like this first API deal is a bit like shaking the present to guess what's inside anyway. We won't know it's value until we open it, but once it's done we know the value position of all subsequent presents in the future and know what to exoect. Here's hoping for a gold rolex watch

Question on your valuation metrics in the above post by the way...I've done a similar thing to guage future revenues and growth potential but couldn't figure out where the revenue split gets added from the data partners. Say for instance they receive 5 million in a year from API deals, and share a 50/50 split with data partners, they would end up with 2.5 million from it. Would you look at the "after split" amount as your revenue calculation or deduct it after as a kind of expense for running the business? (like a company would for the production costs of a product for example)
