    Hi Susan - yes that is an interesting topic.

    IOU current already runs a respectable Mobile Banking software solutions + Digital payment business with annualised revenue of circa $8mil p.a

    This figure is set to grow in the coming months as IOU has reported they are investing alot more capital into prepaid inventories both in Malaysia & Indonesia.

    These prepaid inventories are big business in South East Asia and is set to drive IOU's revenue growth just for its Digital Payment division.

    Also a big revenue earner for IOU is its SaaS (Software as a Solution) for its enterprise clients such as big banks and big corporate like Telcos, Utiilites and other institutions. As you may know, the software business has a very high profit margin and IOU has been in the space for the last 15 years.

    Adding to all of the above - IOU is now rolling out its BNPL product offering.

    What is unique with IOU's bnpl strategy is that they have developed their own proprietary bnpl platform with a strong emphasis on e-KYC and credit scoring for both the banked and unbanked demographics.

    This is important as IOU is regulated by Malaysia's Money Lending license - one of the first BNPL operators in the world to submit itself to regulations and strict compliance, where IOU has built its platform around the requisite regulations. Also, owning and running its proprietary platform allows IOU to control its costs and also provide good cost synergies when IOU is expanding to other country target markets - parts of the same platform will be used.

    Further to this, IOU's bnpl strategy is unique in that it is taking a top down approach, rather than the traditional bottoms up in terms of merchant partnerships.

    Through IOU's partnership with one of the largest SE Asian payment gateway iPay88 and Easystore - this has opened up a huge and very valuable merchant network from with IOU can select and onboard merchants of IOU's choosing.

    IOU bnpl platform's will now be directly integrated with iPay88 and Easystore to provide these bnpl products. This leads to a very low Customer Acquistion cost for IOU with this top down approach.
