I was very interested to hear about PayPal launching BNPL in Australia starting from June. That's big competition for AfterPay and Z1P. I got even more excited to learn that PayPal is very limited in South East Asia. It appears they don't provide the same level of functionality in regards to withdrawing money. APT and Z1P may need to spend more on marketing in Australia over expansion efforts in Asia. These kinds of decisions are what the big players have to make.
Given the number of players now in the BNPL sector it's becoming more and more obvious how big this market is and how much money can be made.
