I had never used a BNPL until about 6 months ago where latitude pay were offering $20 off an order over $60 with certain merchants. I've used it for similar deals since and just paid it off right away.
There are definitely ways of getting people to try new payment systems.
Also marketing will be a big thing. Influencers and social media too.
