It's not me you have to convince - if we want the stock price to move higher sustainably over time, you'll need the involvement of small-cap fund managers (at this stage), then mid-large cap fund managers, assuming the business and market cap increase. Those fund managers will steer clear of the stock leading into releases because of having their positions 'locked up' over the weekend if they were to buy coming into the announcements. It also creates uncertainty for them because they ask the question, if a company has great results, why leave it until the fewest number of people are watching? It's just a sh*t look for a company trying to turn itself around, that's all. The best evidence for this is that I cannot think of 3 large successful companies that do the same thing. Engaging with the markets is more than just making sure you file your paperwork on time - it's about understanding the people that move stock prices and their needs with their funds and clients. Also from memory hard launch was supposed to be in April - given no announcements re hard launch and a quarterly released say 7 hrs before the mandated deadline, this is probably also causing further uncertainty with the market.

I understand where you’re coming from, QBE use to release after hours Friday arvo to mask 1.5B write downs all the time. It didn’t sit right with me either.
