Sure you make a good point, but local demographic preferences say other wise.
Amazon being the no.1 e-commerce in USA & worldwide, has still not tapped certain countries (SEA) , mainly due to the demographic preferences not liking Amazon, and consumers prefer to use other substitutes.
Same will apply in the BNPL case, IOU will draw more attention to the masses in SEA as it is a local brand compared to that of APT or Z1P.
