Good point but if IOU is only at the start of its BNPL rollout, and repayments would have been staggered anyway, I would imagine at the worst it might delay the announcement of profitable numbers by a quarter or so. Instead of potentially good results at the end of January, maybe we have to be patient until April. And the benefit of that is they have more time to iron out any teething problems and sign up more merchants for when Malaysia comes out of lockdown and people start spending big time. Data from Australia shows there was a huge burst of consumer spending post lockdown.
