Under the heading "Territory Expansion" the company confirmed they will resume SEA territory expansion.
I also disagree with your take on accounting for goodwill. A write down only occurs if the asset becomes impaired. This is determined when the asset value is assessed annually as you stated however, an impairment only occurs from events as such declining cash flow or an economic downturn. Goodwill has an indefinite life unlike other intangible assets. You've stated that IOU will write it off each year which is incorrect imo.
Seems like down ramping if you ask me.
