They don't need to be a digital bank. IOU is a fintech company making good inroads in Malaysia where the government is backing digitalisation and in particular BNPL. Given IOU has a money lending license, the company is well positioned. The short term view has a lot of people feeling the pain of the current share price which is unfortunate. IOUpay (V2.0 releases in Feb/Mar), IDSB loan book continues to grow and mobile transactions up from 54m transactions a quarter to 85m a quarter and that's only in 12 months. I'm thinking about what's possible in another 12 months time. The mobile transactions aren't going to decrease given the digital push by the government. E-commerce up 21% in 2021. That number is only going to increase and IOU is going to keep growing.

Imo focusing on what you don't like about the company and how they have invested capital is not going to make the share price increase. Focus on the future and let it play out or sell and move on. No point hanging around if you're not happy. That's not aimed at Kev either, I think this holds for anyone that is unhappy with the investment. All imo.
