@Milashka a prop like this serves to get newbies, many of whom look at the buyers to seller ratio to assess a stock (you see commens about this around these thread a bit). The same apparent buyer (who knows the buy order will never get hit) may be selling their own parcels into the retail newbies. Classic example today with the 70M IOU placement getting repeatedly dumped into the bid all morning each time it got to 1M plus on the bid it got dumped into until the supply exhausted and the price went back up. Its basically part of a larger trap.

I was one of the newbies today that bought at 13.5 thinking the tree shake was done, only to watch it drop to 11. Anyway we live and learn.
