BNPL companies take-off after a CR and do not dip below the credit raise price.

Let’s look at the three “main” BNPL players, their latest CRs and how they fared:

• APT – raised $180million in June at $61.25, no drop in SP following the credit raise and SP never went below credit raise price…currently circa $150. 145% SP increase following CR!

• Z1P – raised $120milion in December, at $5.20, no drop in SP following the credit raise and SP never went below credit raise price….currently circa $12.00. 130% SP increase following CR!

• SPT – raised $1million in April at $.41cents, no drop in SP following the credit raise and SP never went below credit raise price….currently circa $1.30. 217% SP increase following CR!

It is important to note though that the CRs for these companies were down around 7-10% below closing price, whereas IOU is being done at a 25% discount. As such, some volatility is expected, although short-medium term, a SP over $1 and in the ranges of $1.500+ seem inevitable – this will be around 100%+ from the CR price, which history shows is achievable.
