I am not comparing. Its example is for Private Funding (Not SmartFunding) on a secured loan. It is the example of how private funding, deduct the interest and any fees before the disbursement.

    Private Funding in Australia:
Loan amount asked by borrower: $280000
After all the interest and fees deduction $250,000 will go into borrower's account.
And Borrower still need to pay $280k in 12 months, Approx. $23353/month
Private funding making Approx. $30k in profit. And its just 7.99% interest rate in this case.

    SmartFunding Funding:
It will be suppose 15% interest (Depending on the risk)
    Borrower ask for $280,000
    Interest Cost $42,000
    Application Fees: $150
Funds for Disbursement after interest and fees: $237,850
    Platform fees 4% of Disbursement funds: 4% ($237,850) = $9,514
    Total going to Borrower's bank: $237,850- $9514 = $228336

Borrower will pay monthly $23,333/Month for 12 months

Investor's ENR (Expected Net return on their investment) = $33,600 (after 20% commission of $8400 to SmartFunding)

    SmartFunding profit = $150 + $8400 + $9514 - (if any referral fees to agent) = $18,064

That $18,064 will be in pocket first day of the loan.

Tell me if I am wrong about the model????
