I hate to say it but if any ASX goldies are not manipulated by these institutions you speak of (BlackRock, SS, Vanguard, GS etc), they will at some point.

The deep state, through these institutions are trying to turn off investors for gold. It is their only tactic right now to try to attempt to cap a rising gold sentiment. There is not much they can do about the rise of BRICS and heavy demand for gold and changing global financial system, especially when they are losing on the battlefield in Ukraine and western powers are getting kicked out of Africa and their rich gold reserves. USD is dying in influence, only a matter of time before it collapses.

A huge changing global geopolitical landscape is unfolding before our eyes. I just hope they do not escalate further, but the establishment/elites/deep state are quickly losing their power so it is inevitable they will sacrifice the western public as a last-ditch attempt to retain global dominance Imo.
