Regardless of what the market may think, I dont think this one is a punt. Indeed, once the size of this particular cash flow resource was defined it was simply a matter of monitoring their progress to get at it. Hardman went through this phase, where for nearly four years not many investors thought they could make a fist of it, until one day in late 2003 the penny dropped.

During this time, it too was an exercise in local stupidity from the so called investment community who rarely think beyond immediate cash flows, and never ever think of term of life projects

Now of course a British company owns it and they are mightily pleased about the assets they have. French Guiana alone has the promise of 3.5b barrels of oil.

NDO have a similar promise with their estimated 11.6b barrels, and it is my view that when they do what Hardman did, ie: get into bed with an oil major, we will see a transformation. When, who cares, I don't. However, if its immediacy one is after, then we should see a pretty good spike in the share price in the next week or two

A punt, I don't think so.
