It's really exciting to see a certified organic goats milk-based IF company on the ASX. The goats milk factor has enormous potential in Asia and even poses a threat to the current a2m golden child (which I formerly owned). It's also exciting to see them slowly expanding into key supply chains like Costco, Chemist Warehouse etc.

The risks preventing me from investing my hard earned money in BUB is;

1) Management - Relatively inexperienced compared to competitors. They need someone specialising in marketing, distribution or supply chain management otherwise they will never successfully take off.

2) Competitors - Bellamy's and a2m obviously have a running head start and recent a2 milk studies (although some were biased) showed potential of a2-only milk in lactose-intolerant Asians, although Bellamy's is in a world of hurt right now, and a2 milk isn't officially organic (for now).

3) Chinese Registration - Another obvious one which from what I understand, Bubs is yet to get approved. Without this the company is limited to the very limited Australian market.

4) Financial Risk - Without getting into the details, you can see from their quarterly update they still have a long road in front of them before we see any solid gains. Although the recent announcement with China's RED consumer rating site might assist this.

For me, these four risks are too great at the moment and until at least 1) and 3) change then I'll just continue to watch.
