Have you ever perhaps thought ....that by taking up the offer you are actually contributing to the cause rather than just buying the shares and hoping for a "free loader" profit. I often justify taking up these issues to myself in this way, then if it fails at least you were really part of it - if you believe in the cause then it is only proper you should contribute to the capital required to make it work.........
