There is such excitement and expectation about $1 by Xmas. And I agree with the expectation.
What I don’t get is the excitement. $1 is the SP only 3 weeks ago, before the good news about the bolr CA settlement and the announcement about a digital bank project. And of course info about bank margin decline.
Performance of the business and the leadership team is in decline. Any real improvement in SP will come from a sale of all assets or a replacement of the team.
From an already low level, the SP has dropped 20% since Lexi took over. And this is with the booster of BBs which many here think boost the SP.
I remain a holder in the hope that at the next agm there is a spill of the board resulting in a change of leadership and strategy. If you have any doubts about the current team failing, just look at the SP trend vs the NTA of AMP. They have destroyed value.
