One thing that needs to be remembered, is that you are not burnt, until you sell. And all this hysteria about BNPL being a debt trap is rubbish. I mean, in the old days you wanted something so bad and couldn't afford to buy it outright, so you put the item on Laybuy. Well, BNPL is Laybuy with a bonus. You get to take home your purchase before it is paid for. No big deal, as you were just as commited with Laybuy.
