    Neither one of us is wrong.
    It's a big gamble for any person to commit to a house, some get it right and some don't.

    My point is that we all had/have to make decisions and sacrifices to own a roof.

    In the 50-60's most got a job for life, today young people have to assume that they will have at least 3 or 4 proper jobs for life.

    The potential for work cannot be limited to one area and the decision to leave ones comfort zone, yes and sacrificing the support network, may have to be taken.

    I would never suggest anyone buy a house in the bush and look for work but finding a job and testing the waters first would be okay.

    Just my opinion and that doesn't mean it's right for everyone.
