Don't take things personally man. I'm not interested in personal attack or putdown... so if I sound like I did to you, then apologies but I don't care for you that much to bother judging or name calling.
I'm not sure why people think a total stranger would envy them or their success. That'd be like envying the Murdochs or the Packers. Might do better to envy those guys as they have actual real wealth rather than a couple of properties the banks let them pay off on.

You take a very limited version of history. History does not occur 9 years ago to now. Heck, Japan still suffer from its property crash some 30 years ago.
There are some who sits on the sidelines hoping for a crash; there are some who sits on the sidelines because they can't afford to do anything but that. Some aren't sitting on the side of any line, they just watch out of interest.
