i think many would be better of renting until prices come back to fair value.
seems alot of those who want to get into the mkt with the high prices can only do so with io loans, provided they can cover other costs
and deposits but given the younger generations to stay fashioonable and have the latest and greatest this can only be done with a bit of help
older generations use to save up,go without to buy something down the track they watched the purse strings and were tight on the budget
kids need to learn to be a bit more frugal and compromise you cant always have what you want
you get there in the long run just takes a bit of time and patience.
