Sure, if we ignore the common serf on the street and just focus on the shiny skyscrapers and gleaming yachts, what poverty? What problems?
I guess the plebs have it better today than those preceding the French Revolution. Instead of being told to eat cake when they can't find bread to eat; today's plebs are told to stop eating smashed avocadoes with pouched egg. Progress.
You might realise that all those nice unemployment figures, those GDP and stock market indices aren't real indicator of wealth, or unemployment. Not for the majority of people... But I guess they don't really matter because there's lots of them but the gov't got all the guns?
When it come to asset prices, the only reality on prices offered is when it's offered the you, you take it and the money is in the bank. All else are just ephemeral, feel-good paper wealth.
