    Define "own".

Unless the owner completely paid off their mortgage, they don't own anything. How? The bloody bank has the paper to prove the owner don't own it.

    "
Home ownership patterns change quickly. In the 2006 census, it was more common to own a home outright than with a mortgage.

But by 2011, 32.1 per cent of Australian households were in properties owned outright, while 34.9 per cent were owned with a mortgage. A further 29.6 per cent of people rented."

Has the Australian economy improved a great deal on 2006? The mining bust didn't happen? No jobs were lost?

House prices didn't double or triple since 2006?

Mate, you can't even read basic statistics.
