why wouldn't they. STX is being shovelled out the door at about a quarter of the value of its acreage in the US alone. peer sales of $25 000 per unproved acre are being reported in the Eagle Ford area, and STX have 8100 acres. $200 million?
add this to the fact that their cooper basin shale ground is vast, and will probably attract a major predator within the next 6 months at multiples of the current MC.
take an hour or so to read into the recent analysis of the US and cooper shale boom. it is pretty clear that STX is one of the most compelling buys on the asx at 11c.
