agree Vaga, SXY going gangbusters (up 13%) on the back of more spec in the AFR p18 today about Senex being in the cross hairs of AGL for their Cooper assets - STX right next door!
Total (French) also gets a mention on p15 as looking for more LNG opportunities in Aus....it's all happening!
Apart from the down day, probably the reason for today's Mexican standoff! We have sellers holding out for 12.5 and bidders at 11.5. Anything can happen in the remaining 15 mins of trading but I'm looking for a bidder to bid up and not the other way round - see what happens!
My advice.....once Cooper drilling starts 12.5 will look very cheap but you can't blame punters for wanting the cheapest possible entry!!
Exciting times "almost" around the corner....at some point STX will have EFS and Cooper drilling simultaneously in 2012 - that's pure spec!
Happy days are coming our way, and boy do STX shareholders deserve it!
