Since 2016, I’ve accumulated on volatility - sell @ 0.40, buy @ 0.35 - sell @ 0.30, buy @ 0.25 - and if you get lucky, sell @ 0.80, buy @ 0.40.
This will continue if my instinct says an opportunity presents itself.
Although it’s been far from perfect, the overall result has allowed me to pay back my initial outlay, and significantly increase my free-to-air holding.
If confidence permits, recent entrants can do the same, or you can simply use extra cash and buy more shares when you think the price is right.
My comparison with Apple may well be ridiculed, but in 5-10 years time, many will say - ‘I wish I‘d put the house on BRN’.
