Aways in one at a time and lost money investing in ERG. I almost invested in Forbio and Yates (there's showing age again, how many remember these companies). Limit holdings to about five at the most at times, so that is why I don't have too many other stories.
I am also not perfect. See PAC as another opportunity to turnaround soon, but as soon as I began buying it went down 10%.
Buying recoveries is one strategy I have in portfolio and have preferred GARP (growth at reasonable prices) over the last (oh no) 15 years. Recently SIQ has done very well in this space, these investments tend to perform better in the short term.
On CDD, good luck, hope I am wrong. I posted a few years ago on them and they went from $5 to $7. Believe money should be elsewhere until they have fully restructured. Happy to miss opportunity if I am wrong.
