Branchout's growth stopped when Facebook IPO'd and no longer offered free advertising to Branchout, which was how they were growing their user base so quickly. After the growth in users stopped and it wasn't making any money it no longer seemed such a valuable asset, and was sold off on the cheap to our benefit
