Great thinking! Actually makes a lot of sense now too. On the webinar Michael talks about bringing in new mogul users from the brands they partner with. Which would mean that they don't necessarily need to build their user base initially in order for brands to come across and use the platform. He said this is often a big challenge and financial outlay for companies trying to build a platform, that it can be so expensive (and time consuming) to do marketing in order to bring in players. So now that they've now got a very unique and market leading platform with asynchronous play, API integrations, AI capabilities etc they can use their technology as the selling point and not have to worry about proving how many users they have.

One HUGE advantage of this, as Michael put it, was that anyone who plays on mogul HAS to sign up and have an account. So if a brand wants to put on an event and bring across x amount of players they ALL have to become mogul account holders (for life ha). No expense occurred from mogul to acquire them. They just have to focus on user engagement in order to keep them coming back. This is why he's so hot on user generated content. Put the power of the content in the hands of the users. One example he uses was how YouTube would have no chance of being as successful as they are if they had to provide all the content. It's because users can upload their own content that YouTube is so popular. You become part of the platform. I think this is what he wants to do with Mogul. He calls it the "go to destination for all things esports". What a vision!
