We were not at all in the same boat once we had a JV in place (2016) with a highly-experienced Li brine expert who had spent many years delivering commercial product, as well as developing Li brine processing technology.
I’m sick of seeing white-gold-chasers like Promnitz trying to move into specialty chemicals production, with ZERO history in this game.
Go back through our history and timeline and you will see that we delivered BG LCE (from a salar that many vocal critics said was impossible btw) from an industrial-scale pilot plant less than 18 months after starting work on that plant, and only a few months after getting the plant operational.
Straight to hectares of ponds and industrial-scale production to prove scalability and product quality. That was indeed part of the fast-track approach that some have criticised, seemingly without even understanding it:
Afaik, no other junior has this expertise and none have achieved this.
One might argue that most of them seem to be “shaping up” a project with the hope of offloading it before they have to actually deliver.
Under 6 years to commercial production; how are the others really progressing in relation to this? Oh, and “plans” don’t count for much, unless they are well underway, imo.
We proved BG in 2018, the rest was simply a matter of time and funding.
Our time is coming.
