NVX shareholders have been going through the boiling frog effect. The downtrend has been rather rapid and dramatic, but frequent 8-12% jumps can turn doom into sudden hope and euphoria, making the decline seem less dramatic. It is very common in small stocks and particualrly when there's market distortion. It is also how big-time bagholders are usually created.
