I'm an investor, not a trader. I won't be considering a stop loss for my NVX holding for at least a few years unless there is a dramatic change in fundamentals. This approach has served me well for many years, but I understand and appreciate the trading approach, trying to get smaller and more frequent wins, and reduce the magnitude of any losses.
I find TA much less consistent and predictable than FA, but of course anyone buying shares should use a bit of both. Everyone has their own acceptable risk vs reward equation and I'm happy with big risk and big reward where I have a high degree of confidence in the factors I deem important (business fundamentals, not the behaviour of some hedge fund on any given day).
